Explanation:
In today's world there are many problems with teens and young adults. One of the biggest is drug abuse. As a young adult my self I have had a bird's eye point of view. The Only thing worse then using it is denying the fact that marijuana is a gateway drug, which is defined as a drug that leads to the use of others. I've seen a lot of this sort of thing during my later part of eighteen years alive.
When marijuana use was first started where I live it was only older adults and not many at that only used it. As time went by some of my friends both younger and older started to buy and even some were selling it. This was at the age of 16. The past two years the ages have dropped and I've personally seen kids at the age of 12 doing it.
As the years go by the drug use gets heavier and the ages get younger. If anything is to be done to better this world it should be the obliteration of drug abuse by everyone especially the younger generations. Drugs seem to be the focus point of today's youth and it does not help that they are our future.
I my self do not use any sort of illegal drugs bt I have friends that have and or still do. From the time I was 16 some of my better friends were using the more common drugs I.E marijuana. There is nothing I could do to stop them that I hadn't tried already. They all got used to me saying no thanks and would stop trying to get me involved and wouldn't do it around me.
These are the sort of things that need to be stopped or else things will just get worse. There are a few steps anyone can do to avoid trying or having their kids try it. These steps used to be taken in order ot help slow down and the rate of use and the rate of newcomers trying it.
If you're a responsible parent I'm sure you don't want your kids making any mistakes. If you think they might be getting into it then talk to them.
