Answer:

If seen in the right perspective, every incident proves instrumental in our progress. This is indicated through the five fingers of the hand. The little finger of the hand is the most subtle and the smallest. Hence it is used to indicate the solution, which, though present, is not easily discernible. This means that every problem has a solution, but we need to work on the solution to the problem. The solution lies hidden within the problem itself.

Once a person lost his horse. He inserted an advertisement in newspapers announcing that anyone who could find his horse would be awarded Rs 5,000. People went in search of the horse, but no one could find it. At last a young lad found the horse and brought it to the owner. When asked how he had found the horse, the boy replied, I said to myself, if I were a horse, where would i go I went to that place and found the horse present at that spot.

To be able to think from anothers viewpoint is a very subtle quality. Only when we step into anothers shoes (the horses shoe in this case) can we enter that feeling, that state, in which the other is. When we penetrate the thinking of any person, only then can we learn of what the person feels. Thinking from anothers perspective is an art.

People often complain that whenever they meet a new person, they are unable to find a topic of discussion. The obvious solution to this is: When we put ourself in the other persons shoes, we can see what that person will eat, drink, like, dislike, what his problems are, etc. This way we gain some information about him and face no difficulty in conversing with him. Based on the information acquired, we can ask him any number of questions. Stepping into another persons shoes, you think, Where will I go now Based on this thought, we can ask the person, Where will I go now

Based on this thought, we can ask the person, Where are you planning to go now The person will then give us some reply, based on which we can begin a conversation. As we continue to delve further, we will begin to extract more and more topics to discuss. Initially we might find it a bit difficult, but later, when we learn to find solutions, it will become easier.

The solution to a problem lies in the problem itself. this means that the cure to a disease is in disease itself, just as the answer to a question is in the question itself. When our body is unable to digest a particular fruit, we need to remember that the solution lies in the fruit itself. Suppose, after eating a piece of watermelon, we begin to feel uneasy or unwell, then right then and there we can chew five or six watermelon seeds. Our problem will disappear. This means the problem emerged from the watermelon and so did the solution. If we do not eat the peel (skin) of a fruit, for example, if we eat the guava without its peel and our body is unable to digest it, then next time we must eat it along with its peel. If a fruit causes problems with the peel, then eat it after peeling.

Initially we may wonder about how the solution can lie within the problem or how could the answer to a question be found within the question itself! But this is a fact.
