E-learning is a learning experience of a structured course delivered electronically.

Now, as technology has developed so much, many things have gone online, and thus every activity which was once done socially is now done on online platforms. Just like that the education has also taken its form as E-learning, where lectures on a particular topic are delivered to students online via technology bases. For such activities, various platforms have been developed and now students can access any kind of knowledge from anywhere at any time. Some of these platforms provide one-to-one, on-time lectures, while others have access to lectures 24hours that can be attained at any time from any place. This methodology developed for the purpose of learning is known as E-learning.

E-learning is important as it provides knowledge about any topic to students free of cost and any child or adult can access them. It helps us to acquire electronical language along with the book knowledge and it is also useful in the preparation of various exams and gives practical knowledge.

Some of the advantages of E-learning are:-

• E-learning saves time and money.
• With online learning, learners can access content anywhere and anytime.
• E-learning leads to better retention.
• E-learning is consistent.
• It is scalable.
• Offers personalization.

But, along with that, there are also some disadvantages of E-learning that are:-

• Lacks social interaction.
• Inaccessible to others.
• E-learning is one of the causes of social isolation because you don't see your teachers and classmates face-to-face anymore.
• Focuses more on theory.
• Cheating is unavoidable.
• Requires self-motivation and proper time management skills.

Therefore, even though E-learning holds many plus points that help the youth, like in this corona pandemic children were only able to learn through E-learning platforms but they have lost interest in studies because the interaction power has reduced over time. So, E-learning can only be beneficial if the children are dedicated to their responsibilities of learning.
