Answer:

                      Truth shall prevail

It is a universal truth. Truth is very potent. No power can vanquish truth. It is written in Mundaka Upanishad ‘Satyameva Jayate’, which also means ‘Truth alone triumphs’.

History is a witness to this fact that whenever in the past, nefarious powers attempted to defeat truth, they failed miserably. The Pharisees and scribes tried to subdue the truth of Jesus Christ. However, he overcame their falsehood. Lincoln’s truth could not be defeated with his assassination. Similarly, Gandhi’s truth could also be not vanquished by the mighty British.

Truthfulness wins hearts of fellow workers and team leaders. On the basis of it they entrust him with key responsible duties; the performance in these duties determines his reliability. Thus the prospects of his promotion become bright. Besides, all great men of all times have been extraordinarily truthful. They became truthful first, geniuses later.

Apart from being successful in the materialistic world, truthful living is the first prerequisite to achieve goals of self-actualization and self-realization. In the Gospel of St. John it is written: ‘God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.’ So, in conclusion it can be said that truthful living is indispensable for all-round well-being of man.

So, let’s practice truth in our thoughts, words, and deeds to live a great life.
