Tourism promoting plurality of cultures
Travelling is one of the best experiences. Everyone would love to travel including me! This practice of travelling with the help of an organisation is called as tourism. Tourism is a part of travelling, but not all travel is called as tourism. Tourism is when, we travel to boost the economy of other states or countries. Tourism is a practise where not only we enjoy, but tourists are provided with a great chance of learning something from a place that they visit too.
The guides provide all the required information to the tourists, which might be missed only by travelling. Tourism provides the details about a place visited with the geography, history and culture too. Thus, tourism fills your pockets with knowledge. Tourism not only boosts up our knowledge, but it also explains about the cultures of a country.
Let us take the example of our own country - India. Foreign tourists when enter India, fill their pockets with history and cultures of our country. They might have just heard about the Taj Mahal, but looking at the white marble closely and listening to the tourist guides provides people a clearer picture about the Taj. They also get a chance to visit the nearby places which are unknown to them, but the tourist guides do know!
Learning about the cultures of any place is always quite interesting. Knowing the cultures of any place will make us realise small things and their value. If we look into the culture of the Nazi germany, we will feel the importance of democracy in a country. Thus, cultures of different countries and places teach us something new and important. It also builds up the strength of understanding between us and learn etiquette. Learning a new language also becomes easier because of tourism.
Knowing about the culture by reading books and surfing internet does not provide the experience as you do when you visit. Curiosity will be cleared better with the process of tourism. Tourism also acts as a degree of trust and cooperation between countries. When we become tourists, we learn about different cultures in an interesting manner.

Let's take Delhi, Delhi is a very well known tourist place.. many people from India as well as from the other countries come to view the beauty of Delhi.
The tourists come and go but also take away the beautiful memories they spent. They spread their experiences about their visit .
Tourism is really important, when the number of tourists are more the place becomes famous compared to the other. In short, the importance and value of the place becomes more.
