Answer:

The ninth Sikh Guru is Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. He was Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji's youngest child. He was born in Amritsar on April 1st, 1621. He had Bibi Nanki Ji as his mother. His real name was Tyag Mal, but Tegh Bahadur was given to him in honour of his valour and fortitude.

Explanation:

Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji bowed down as he entered into everlasting rest and said, "Baba Bakale," meaning "My successor is at Bakala." During the roughly twenty years (1644–1664) that Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji meditated at Bakala, he resided there with his mother Mata Nanaki Ji and wife Mata Gujari Ji. He was exposed in Bakala by wealthy businessman Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana. When a group of Hindus in need informed the ninth Guru Ji of this, he issued a challenge to the Emperor that the Guru would have to convert to Islam in order to convert all Hindus. He promised to give up everything to further the cause of justice. As a result, the Guru was put in jail at Aurangzeb's request in 1675. Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dyala Ji, three pious Sikhs who travelled with the Guru, were taken into custody and killed in front of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji in Delhi. The Guru Ji simply refused to comply with the Emperor's request, even though he was made to witness the torture and killing of these disciples. Three possibilities were presented to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji by Emperor Aurangzeb.1) Adopting Islam; 2) Performing miracles 3. Be prepared to die. The Guru finally selected the latter. On November 11, 1675, his head was publicly hacked off at Chandni Chowk in Delhi for standing out for basic human rights. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji's martyrdom, unparalleled in human history, was a sacrifice made on behalf of another religious group. The martyrdom of the Guru Ji contributed to arouse the Sikh community's collective consciousness, which was about to see a final metamorphosis in the years that would follow. On November 12th, 1675, Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanjara Ji removed the decapitated body and reverently cremated it at his residence in Delhi. At Sri Anandpur Sahib Ji in Punjab, Bhai Jaita Ji then respectfully gave Guru Gobind Singh Ji the severed head of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. The village of Anandpur Sahib Ji, where the beloved head of the Guru Ji was severed and cremated, now houses the Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib Ji. According to certain authors, once you've sworn devotion to someone, you should make the ultimate sacrifice—your head—but never, ever let him down. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji is a prime example of this, since he gave his life yet maintained his faith. The candidate for Gurgaddi was Gobind Rai Ji, the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

At Talwandi Sabo Ji, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Ji, Guru Gobind Singh inserted Bani of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji into Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The bani of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji conveys the teaching of non-attachment. brevity of the guru teg bahadur ji shaheedi essay.
