A twenty dollar bill. It is simply a piece of paper which we all once in our lives, have held in our very hands. But why? What is its importance? What makes it any different than any regular piece of paper?

For some a twenty dollar bill may be life changing, may actually save their lives. With it they may buy food, water, or other essentials they may need in life. For some the twenty dollar bill would be a splendid miracle, a saviour, really.

Yet for others it may seem like nothing. Maybe it is part of a much bigger sum. Maybe it's a bill once forgotten about, now hidden in some jacket that one day will be remembered. With it they buy what they don't need but maybe long for. Or maybe they use it just for the sake of it.

A twenty dollar bill. A single piece of paper. Yet it seems to have so much more meaning than that.

Maybe the pen that signed a peace treaty cost that very twenty dollar bill. Maybe it saved a life. Maybe it ruined another.

A paper. A number.

Two things that can either improve or destroy one's life.
