November is Entertaining Month here on Re-Nest as we prepare for all the upcoming family dinners, holiday parties, and overnight guests. When I entertain, I always like to do a few extra special things for my guests: I make sure I have fresh flowers around the house, I put out my nicest hand towels, light beeswax tealights, and play some chill music on low. How do you welcome guests into your home? Or another question might be, what has a host/hostess ever done that made you feel extra special?

Explanation:

A guest is a person to be honoured and respected. But there are certain types of guests who are unwelcome. My father has such an unwelcome guest in Mr. Kumar.

He visits us frequently and always without prior intimation. He knows that my mother is working and we all have to go by 9.30 a.m. Father and mother have to go to their office, while we have to go to our school. He always comes when we are locking up the house or have just finished.

When he comes, one of us has to stay back and serve him. If mother can take casual leave, then she waits. But mostly I have to stay back as I am the eldest. He is a very easy-going person. He takes his own time in taking bath and getting ready
