United means being together and without fighting with each other and divided we fall. If you are with many of your friends you stand, if you just alone, you feel when you are being in a problem. Always be united and without being divided.
It is not very easy to be united to be united you must be friendly with your environment and as well as your society, it is starting first with the word "friendship" and ended with a strong bond will is called your "united".
If you really want to be united be friendly, never hurt anyone, talk to everyone politely, ask sorry if you have done any mistake and also never cheat anyone, never let misunderstanding into your friendship and be truthful always. I tell you a simple example to proof that cities are not united but small villages are united.
Nowadays, the modern world doesn't care about what is happening in our environment and in our societies if a person is being hunted or anyone hurts other no on cares about his in cities or towns, but if you see anyone is being hunted by someone unwantedly people rust to attack the person who writes the other person
This is because there is not much facilities in villages and then know what is right and they also know how to face problems, but in our cities we have lots of facilities and we don't want to interfere in others matter this is also good but sometimes this is wrong this is called "divided"

"United we stand, divided we fall" is a very well-known saying and is commonly used to express the importance of unity and collaboration. This proverb is designed to stir people up to greater unity. This saying means that it is always better to stick together.
We know that there is strength in unity. Unity is of great value in every walk of life. One example is seen in games and sports involving different teams. A team may have some best players. But unless there is a strong bond of unity amongst the team members they cannot perform well and will lost games to weaker teams.
Teamwork is essential to achieve something significant. If we work together we can be successful. If we fight each other we will fail.
Looking back at the history of our country, we came under the dominance of the British because India was not a united country then. There were many princely states who were hostile towards each other. Some of them were so selfish that they did not hesitate to use the British to bring down other rulers. The British saw the enmity between different Indian rulers and took advantage of this disunity. They support one ruler to defeat another ruler. They introduced their divide and rule policy and eventually the whole of India was taken over by them.
Mahatma Gandhi said, "Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking." India is a land of diversity. People have different tradition, culture, custom, religion, language, dress and food habits. Therefore, as one nation, we need unity in diversity more than any other natioy of the world.
When the people in a society live together in unity there will be peace and progress. No nation can prosper if the people are not united. A country torn by strife internally cannot stand up against external foreign enemies.
There is strength in unity but division weakens and ruins a country. Therefore, everyone must strive to overcome differences and come together as one in harmony and unity.
