Urgent Reforms Modern Education NeedsFlipping back the pages of history, education seems to have originated from the very beginning of human civilization. We began writing in ink on papyrus and after nearly a fifty centuries, I am typing this essay on Microsoft Word .Everything has changed , ranging from our way of life to our priorities ,however one thing has always remained same mans struggle for survival and enlightenment .We, the humans are by birth inquisitive and love to learn ,explore new things and welcome changes. Years of research and dedication, and we were gifted the greatest boon for mankind Modern Education. Its modern education that has made us what we are today. It might not be wrong to say that modern education has helped turn our dreams into reality .However things are not the same as before. The human family has more than 7 billion members today and mother earth is at risk now more than ever before. Time today demands versatile and creative young men and women who can cope with the challenges of life and take the society, the nation and the world a step forward on their account. With the challenges of life getting more complex than ever before, we require a system that helps young learners to develop not only as skilled professionals but also as logical thinkers who can find a solution to their own problems. For a happier life and a better human society, the education of the century requires incorporating real issues and including methodologies that can help fulfill the needs of today and aspirations of tomorrow. Apart from academic knowledge, modern education needs reforms that can help individuals prosper socially, emotionally, physically and mentally.
