essay on Virtual Annual Day of my school
Answers
Answer:
Last Sunday was our school Annual Day. We had been preparing for it since a long time. We had arranged a military band to play the music for the March Past.
Parents were invited to the annual day and thus caused a great deal of excitement in our hearts. There were races organized. Every student hoped that he may be able to win the first prize at these events.
We had students dancing the Tamasha of Maharashtra, the Garbha of Gujarat, the Bhangara of Punjab and the western dance of Goa.
Another highlight of the Annual day was the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest. After the speech of the Chief Guest, our principal also delivered his speech.
The Chief Guest gave away the prizes. I won the prize for coming first in the race.
The Principal then thanked the Chief Guest and other guests. We all await the arrival of our annual day every year. We love our school Annual Day.

Annual Day is a day that is eagerly anticipated and joyfully celebrated. It's a happy occasion that gives kids a chance to show off their individual skills and hone their self-assurance. This day ignites the sense of community that allows children to show off their abilities in spite of the challenges. The performance began with the school choir singing the school hymn in a pleasing manner, which was followed by a dance performed by the pupils as an invocation. Dr. Prateep V. Philip IPS served as the honoured Chief Guest for this year's Annual Day. Ms. Sherly Wilfred gave the greeting speech and introduced the chief guest before wishing everyone a hearty welcome.
"A Song of Hope," performed by the school choir, touched everyone's hearts. Our principal, Rev. Fr. Rohan D. Almeida SJ, delivered the Annual Report and emphasised the school's successes in the areas of academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. This was followed by the Chief Guest's message, delivered by an accomplished individual who inspired us with advice on how to maintain optimism in the face of adversity. Rev. Fr. Provincial, the president of our school's annual day, Rev. Fr. Dionysius Vaz SJ, blessed the event with his presence and gave a riveting address. Our rector, Rev. Fr. Joseph Ignatius Rodrigues SJ, then addressed us in a motivational speech, which we found to be quite wise.
A stunning display of performances by the pupils in the shape of a cultural programme followed the programme. The approach was based on the Universal Apostolic Preferences of youth character formation and Jesuit ideals. The pupils also showed a brief movie entitled "Hope in Quarantine." The crowd heard a powerful message from the performances. Ms. Jennifer Bernard's Vote of Thanks brought the performance to a close. The gathering was a success, and everyone enjoyed it.
