Kalka to Shimla. It is a hilly tract of sixty kilometers. It takes eight hours to reach there. The train moves on the zig zag lines very slowly. The train moving on this line has only 8 or 9 compartments. The speed is so slow that one can get on or get down of a moving train. The surroundings present beautiful scenery. The tall trees look majestic.

Next morning, we hired a bus and under the supervision of our teacher we visited all the worth-seeing places in and around Shimla. We visited the Mall, the Lower Bazaar, Jakhu Hill and the famous Kalibani temple at Shimla. We also went to Kufri and Naldera. These places are so beautiful that they have a lasting impression on the visitors.
