Answer:

I feel confused.

When I lose my favorite things, I realize that I can take nothing for granted as nothing is permanent.

When I lose my favorite things, my reality suddenly “shifts” and all of a sudden the way in which I perceive and make sense of the world doesn’t hold true anymore.

And when things don’t make sense anymore, I feel lost, shaken, and confused.

Then I freeze the time for a while and think about this quote by Palahniuk: “Only after disaster can we be resurrected. It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything."

Then I feel sad about the things I haven't lost yet.

P.S.: I hope, by "things", you didn't mean to ask how I feel about losing a "person".

Like the end of the world …. Like there is a huge gaping abyss that you are staring into looking for a ray of hope that in some magical way it will find your way back into life … the nadir of your existence compounded by your helplessness to revert back the situation. Hope that the world ends right now so you don't have to deal with it anymore ….

Well, to be honest, I'm not a person who is attached to anything at all, albeit a few people that have a place in my heart. You can guess the rest
