The Galvanizing visit

It was 9 o' clock in the morning we (all the children) were remarkably waiting for Medha Patkar mam in the burning sun.All had successfully overcomed their "Monday morning blues" and were discussing about her only.As we all know that Medha Patkar is an Indian social activist working on various crucial political and economical issues raised by Adivasis,Dalits,farmers, labourers and women facing injustice.She is the also the founder of 31 years old people's movement in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Finally after 15 mins everyone's urge to see her was successfully fulfilled when she entered our school in her simple Maruti car.She was welcomed by tika and garlands.Our principal was there to receive her.She had an immensely pleasant grin on her face that enlightened her personality.
A short program was prepared for welcoming her in our school.The program was hosted by head girl and head boy : Shreya and Manik.After that a dance performance by junior classes and a small skit was prepared.She was extremely glad to enjoy our performance.
Now came the most awaited moment that was speech by Medha mam herself.She addressed the students in a very peculiar way that inspired everyone.She also gave us many guidelines and inspired us by her words.Medha mam even enlightened us by describing her whole journey of how she became a social worker.The programme ended by a short prayer service and vote of thanks by our principal.
