South Korea is a country located in East Asia, surrounded by the southern half of the Korean Peninsula. Located in the west of this country, Japan in the east and North Korea in the north, known as 'Land of Shant Dawn'. The country's capital, Seoul, is the world's second largest metropolitan area and a major global city. The official language here is Korean, which is written in both the Hangul and Hanja scripts. The national currency is von. North Korea is the only country from the border of this country, with a 238 kilometer long border with South Korea. The border of both Koreas is the highest military complex in the world. There is also a civilian sector between the two countries. South Korea is now a developed country, and based on the gross domestic product, it is the fifteenth largest economy on the basis of the thirteenth and gross domestic product of the world. There are 15 international centers in the country and around 500 universities are people of Beso Come here to study. Industrial development is very much happening here and people from 15 countries, including China in China, work here through the employment permit system. Of all the Countries I’ve visited so far, South Korea is the one place that I have truly fallen in love with.So little is known about Korean culture to folks in the UK, so I wanted to point out precisely what it is that makes me love Korea so much. If you’ve been to Korea, hopefully you can identify with these points and if you haven’t, well then I hope some day you can pay Korea a visit and discover its’ magic for yourself.Sometimes when I’ve been travelling through Asia for extended periods of time I’ve really craved familiar foods or gotten to the point where I couldn’t bear to see another bowl of *insert name of relevant local dish here*.
Korean food delivers just the right blend between Eastern and Western cuisines – delicious marinated meats, hearty soups and stews, refreshing fruits and salads and even their own spin on KFC (Korean Fried Chicken is a thing and for real, it knocks the socks off anything the Colonel could rustle up).
