We live in India where there are six seasons, among them winter is my favourite season. It starts after the autumn season and finishes on the arrival of the spring season. I like this season very much because of its cold weather. The season helps us to stay healthy and fit. This season stays for about three months in our country. Nights are long and days are short in this season. There are many festivals in winter like Christmas, Eid, New year, Holi etc. At this season farmer reap their rice and grow as like cauliflower, green peas, beans etc. The winters vacation in India is mostly spent on tour/travels with family or friends.
We wear woollen clothes in this season to protect our body from cold. Hilly regions look very beautiful during the winter season as everything gets covered by the ice and give awesome look like scenery. Ice on the things looks as beautiful as pearls. Flowers of different colours bloom when the sun rises and give the environment a new look. The season is good as well as has some challenges to face. It is very difficult to come out at night in winter. Though the winter season is not even so much effective in our country as it is in some European countries. It creates more difficulties for poor people. They don’t afford the required clothes even some don’t have their own home too. They have to spend their nights outside in cold. We should try our best to help them gifting warm clothes those people who can’t afford.
