Answer:

Explanation:

Sometimes it feels like we spend so much time trying to get ourselves noticed, that we forget why we’re doing all of this in the first place. When we base our level of success on fame, money, and admiration we soon discover that there is never enough.

When we look outside of ourselves for approval and self-worth, we become slaves to the opinions of others. At some point, we have to stop and ask ourselves what it is we are really chasing and why…

“Work for a cause, not for applause. Live to express, not to impress.

Don’t strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt”

Answer:

Have you ever wondered what kind of person you are? Among 7.6 billion people on this earth you never can expect everyone would be the same. Everyone has an identity. They have their own works, own targets and also own commitments. It’s oblivious. Anyway, there are people who value others; more than themselves before everyone else. Once, Mathathma Ghandi said “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” It is choosing to act in recognition of a need, with an attitude of social responsibilities without concerning for monetary profits while going beyond the obligations to reach social aims. They work to be of benefit to the community under their own free will without any coercion and no financial payment. That is called “VOLUNTEERING”. The person who gives time and effort mixing with his/her talents to a need or a cause without profiting monetarily is called “VOLUNTEER”.

Volunteering gives you an opportunity to change people’s lives as well as your own life. Volunteering gives a great satisfaction of playing a role in someone else’s life or in the community while gaining valuable work experiences at the same time. It should not be huge projects to be volunteered. You can just do very small things to make remarkable evolution, just by few deeds. It can be a cleaning project of a beach or a park, introducing a new programme for dumping garbage or teaching kids who are poor or disabled. With all that, it can be changing people’s mindsets to get done something good by them or to change their attitudes towards new aspects.

Actually, why people volunteer? There are people in the world who sacrifice their lives on others and get happy candidly. On the other hand, giving back to our community is valuable in itself while having many benefits to the volunteer himself. The best thing you can get is, it helps you learn more about yourself with a good guidance path to your career. It builds the self-esteem and confidence on the volunteer too.

On the other hand, it gives good life experiences and skills to your life since while working you can find out the hidden capabilities of yours. At the same place, you can meet new and interesting people too. No matter what groups of people that you are working with. You will find that they are very diverse, erudite and interesting to work with. If they are not interested by you, you will learn at least how to be patient while working with that type of people. And too, it’s a great method of enhancing your health and get active. Finally, it’s an eye opening that doing even a little thing can make a big impact on the community.

There are many organizations in the world which need volunteers. You can call their programmes based on your communities and ask if they need any help or you may contact socio-cultural institutions or similar organizations asking whether they can point you to the correct direction. In spite all of that, really no need of huge plans. You may just get together or individually even, implement a remedy to a burning issue in your community in small scale first and later you will be helped by the society more and more when they get interested what you are doing.

However, before you volunteer, to get the most out of your experiences, you too must ask some questions from yourself. There may be things that you have done in past and enjoyed. Probably those skills may be performed by yourself better while volunteering. You must know clearly, what you are volunteering and how much time that can be spent for that. With all that you must have knowledge about the communities that you need to work with. At the same time, a passion of volunteering is needed, since truly you are working only for a cause but for applause.

Volunteers are not paid. That’s not they are worthless, but they are priceless. And as a human, you have never really lived until you have done something to someone, who can never pay you

Hope it helps
