World Environment on 5th June every year. People from more than 100 countries celebrate this day. Furthermore, the world environment day is run by the United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP). Since the year 1973. Above all the main purpose of celebrating this day was to spread awareness. The awareness was about the conservation of our environment.

Moreover to also take various preventive measures to avert the effects of Global warming. Since we all know that Global warming is the root cause of the ruin of our environment. Therefore it is our duty to protect our environment. And stop all the exploitation that is destroying it. Because in the end, it is our basic need for our survival and our generations ahead.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June worldwide. This was started in 1972 by the United Nations General Assembly to uphold global awareness on environmental issues. This campaign has been started to inspire the environment to take positive steps for the protection of the nature of this planet (earth). This campaign was announced at the beginning of the United Nations Human Environment Conference. It is operated by the United Nations Environment Program. On the occasion of World Environment Day Program of 2015, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi planted his official residence (7, Race Course Road, New Delhi) on the garden.

The main objective of this campaign is to promote awareness and encouragement to the people through participation in this program of media and celebrities. The Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Environment Program sent messages around the world to participate in World Environment Day. This campaign is an invitation to add a large number of people to this program, so that people can understand the real state of the environment and become environmental representatives who are able to overcome climate change with effective programs against adverse environmental impact. We should be involved in this program for a better future and we must promise to keep our environment safe.
