what is Social Media ?

Social media is a platform where a user can share his contents and can read others too. He can also participate in social networking.
Some popular social media platforms are Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp etc.

My opinions on Social Media, It may vary from person to person

I personally think that social media is one the biggest invention and one of the most helpful invention for today's world. It enables us to communicate anywhere anytime to anyone in fraction of seconds. Social media made the World like a big joint family.
It doesn't matter wherever we are and whoever we are we can use it and get the information as we need it. Since 10 yrs there is a tremendous growth in the number of users of social media and it's increasing day by day.

Social media became a habit of youth. We don't sleep till we update our status, we share each every moment of our life on a social media. It has emerged as a basic need for us.

But, Each coin has two faces, so that the social media does. If there is advantages then there is disadvantages too.

In this era of social media, there are many persons who can destroy your life. Your account can be hacked and your information could be stolen and it could be manipulated too. We need to beware from these kind of threats while on social media. we shouldn't post our private information or photos on it.

But I would prefer a world with social media because threats can be avoided by precautions and by using antiviruses and being aware on social sites.

I can't imagine a world without social media.
