My favorite sportsperson is Sourav Ganguly, commonly known as "Dada".
To follow a person's lifestyle, trying to acquire his personality, his communication skills with different persons, his leadership qualities, and his ability to take huge responsibilities on his shoulders are always been an asset for me because I believe if a person acquiring above qualities will definitely be a successful and admirer to all. For me, I find all these qualities in Dada. He is been an inspiration to me.
"The Pride of Bengal" or "The Prince of Calcutta" had made his intense fighting spirits when in Lord's, he had opened his shirt in front of the English crowds to celebrate the victory over England in Natwest's Series. This fearless attitude from him had made a new outlook in the dressing room of the Indian team. Right from winning series in foreign lands under his leadership to being the president of BCCI(Board of Control for Cricket in India), his dedication to his work is really commendable.
So it would be privileged for me if I prepare myself to attain one quality of his. There will be one and only 'Dada' in the cricket world, no one can replace his position. His contributions to the Indian Cricket Team will always be cherished and remembered in the future.
