Global warming has resulted in shrinking of glaciers, disappearance of vegetation, increase in diseases and the risk of extinction of many species

During the period of 1990-2000 AD, more than 60000 people worldwide died due to natural disasters.

2014 was considered the hottest year. Earlier, 2010 was considered to be the warmest year.
