Trees are our earliest neighbours and best friends. In true sense trees are our real neighbour, Trees are of tremendous value to us. They give us oxygen & without this oxygen we cannot imagine the existence of Lively Earth or life. Trees are an important part of the Biosphere that exists on earth. They provide shade to men and animals. Trees are home to numerous birds, insects and animals.

They prevent drought and cause rainfall. They help in checking environmental pollution like, air pollution, soil pollution etc. & trees also are a natural medium to prevent soil erosion. They give us oxygen to breathe in and absorb the carbon dioxide. So, we should promote forestation.

Wood is the most valuable product that trees give us. We use wood in many ways. Wood is used as fuel and firewood. Wood is used to make furniture. Trees are good sources of medicinal herbs, lace and raw materials for many industries. We get resins, natural gums, etc. from the trees. Trees help in maintaining the fertility of soil. They maintain ecological balance. They help in cleaning environment.

Not only trees provide essential things, they also add to the natural beauty.

Unfortunately, trees are being cut indiscriminately. Rapid industrialization, urbanization and population growth have contributed to the loss of trees. In this way we have done great loss to ourselves. So, in every year on the occasion of World Planting Day we should promise to plant at least one tree for ourselves.

की हमारी साँसे। इन पेड़ो का मानव के ही नहीं बल्कि जीव-जन्तुओ के जीवन में भी प्रभाव पड़ता है। इन पेड़ो से सब जीवित प्राणी और पशु-पक्षियों को ऑक्सीजन प्रदान करते है। इन पेड़ो से हमारा वातावरण हरा-भरा रहता है। इन पेड़ो के बहुत उपयोग है। ये पेड़ वर्षा का भी कारण बनते है और ये सुखा और बाढ़ रोकने में भी मदद करते है। trees Tree इस पेड़ो से हमे कई तरह के पर्दाथ मिलते है जैसे की रबड़, पुस्तुको के कागज,गोंद, दातुन आदि । इन पेड़ो से हमे कई तरह की जड़ी-बूटियाँ भी मिलती है जो हमारी बिमारियों के लिए उपयोग में आती है । ये पेड़-पौधे जानवरो और छोटे जीवो के लिए घर का काम भी करते है। इन पेड़ो के उपयोगो को दखते हुए हम कह सकते है की यह हमारे जीवन के लिए अमूल्य है और इनका मूल्य हम आंक नही सकते। इन सब उपयोगो को जानते हुए भी आज के समय में हम इन पेड़ो का मूल्य भूलते जा रहे है । हम दिन-प्रतिदिन इन पेड़ो को काटते जा रहे है। पेड़ो का इस तरह कटते रहने से हमारे जीवन में बहुत दुर्प्रभाव पड रहा है। इन पेड़ो के कम होते जाने के कारण मौसम वातावरण में बहुत बदलाव आया है। इनसे हमारी नदिया सूखती जा रही है । ये पेड़ हमें उपजाऊ धरती ही नही बल्कि हमारी संस्कृति को भी बचाये रखते है तो हमे इन पेड़ो को कम होने से बचाने के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने चहिये ताकि अपना वातावरण हरा-भरा रख सके।
