Good morning to respected chief guest of today's program, our honorable principal, teachers and all the students present here. My name is ____ and I am student studying in ____ class, Division ____. I am standing here before you for delivering a speech on the Republic Day of India.
India got Independence on 15 August 1947, but there was a need to setup a permanent constitution of India. The Constitution of India came into existence on 26 January 1950 and Dr. Ambedkar was the chairman of Indian Constitution. On this day India became the republic and self-governing nation. The history beyond the independence and republic of this wonderful nation is also very beautiful. After the establishment of Constitution of India the common people got equal rights. After the constitution came into effect the rule of Kings and Queens got disabled totally, and the government came into existence. The people got social and political rights and the nation became completely republic and declared as the Republic Day of India.
So, we the students are the future of our developing India, so we have to promise to our mother nation today itself that "In case if needed we will sacrifice our life for India." We will also raise our nations name high at the world level.

Today, we all are here to celebrate 67th Republic Day of our nation. This is a great and auspicious occasion for all of us. We should greet each other and pray to God for the development and prosperity of our nation. We celebrate Republic Day in India every year on 26th of January as the constitution of India came into force at this day. We are regularly celebrating the Republic Day of India since 1950 as on 26th of January in 1950 India constitution came into force.
India is a democratic country where public is authorized to elect its leaders to lead the country. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was our first President of India. Since we got independence from the British rule in 1947, our country has developed a lot and counted among the powerful countries. Together with some developments, some drawbacks have also arisen such inequality, poverty, unemployment, corruption, illiteracy, etc. We need to take a pledge today for solving such problems in the society to make our country a best country of the world.
Thanks, Jai Hind
