Independence Day is an national festival celebrate as anniversary of national independence to commemorate India's independence from british empire on 15 August in 1947 when India became Independent after lots of hard struggle and sacrifice of Indian freedom fighters.We won freedom after a lots of struggle. When India got it's independence the purpose license of India had chosen there first Prime Minister, Pundit Jawaharalal Nehru who had unflured the tricolour National flag

at the red fort in the national capital ,New delhi for the first time.
