Answer:

Traffic congestion is not primarily a problem, but rather the solution to our basic mobility problem, which is that too many people want to move at the same times each day. Accident costs congestion generally slows down the traffic on roads which reduces fatalities which are normally a major cost, but congestion is also associated with more lower-level accidents. The frustration of start and stop traffic leads to 'bump and grind' driving and damage to property. Vehicular traffic, especially traffic jams and long commutes can affect commuters in many ways. Loud honking, road rage and over speeding can affect the person themselves and other commuters as well. Possible effects can include people opting for a job change due to the stress and fatigue caused by the daily commute. Air pollution and sound pollution are two major issues that are rising to alarming proportions in the recent years.
