What our nation today needs is the power of youth. Young politicians need not have a political background. They need to have zeal and desire to serve the nation.
THE YOUTH today is called by many names, it is this generation X, which is going to lead the nation and the world. ‘Leaders of tomorrow’, is what they are called as. Theworld is in deep need of such people who hold the fervor of leading a nation or doing good deeds. In the present scenario, the nation is in deep need of intellectual and intelligent youth. Our young nation calls for younger leaders who can lead us through, there’s an urgent need of youthful figures.
The young blood can handle situations in a better way. According to the latest studies, young people are the ones who are aware of latest things, about which the old people may not be aware of. The old saying, “slow and steady wins the race,” has been replaced by, “fast and competent wins the race.”
The new generation has many fine ideas of completing a task and has better leadership qualities, which many people don’t have. It is they who can take us out of the fix.
Young politicians need not have a political background. They need to have zeal and desire to serve the nation. It shouldn’t be on the basis of reservation quota. Neither layman should enter politics nor illiterates should enter it until and unless they understand what politics is all about. If backward groups have to be encouraged, it should be on the primary level.
It is pathetic that the youth is describing politics as a dirty game, which is not true. They are opting for professions like Doctors, Engineers, CA, etc but hardly one per cent to three per cent enter politics. Why? Is it because they are rely on people who are holding antiquated thoughts and customs?
Politics means serving people and helping the backward communities come forward and lead a better life. Shows like 'Lead India' are not made just for the sake of TRP ratings or whatsoever but to make people aware that ‘yes, youth can do much more'.
If the youngsters don’t come up with new and better ideas, how will we progress? Won’t we be the same old people who don’t know what progress means?
Youth can handle it in a different way, as winners are not the ones who do different things but who do things differently. I’m sure they would have sought out some better and peaceful methods of taking people out of the dilemma.

Essay on Role of Youth in Society !
The young generation occupies a special place in social environment. It is very much part of society. The young and rising generation constitutes a representative of the future in the broadest sense; the future of any society depends on the practical and spiritual molding of the youth.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
All societies pay special attention to the youth. No revolution can be victorious without the effective education, organisation and mobilisation of the youth into political action. It is none other than the youth (especially the working youth) who form the core of the ‘political’ and ‘military’ armies of the revolution.
Their youthful energy enables them to perform great feats in the theatre of battle; enables them to be the most active transmitters of ideas and skills; their zeal spreads into their surroundings like wild-fire. The youth acts as the motive force of the revolution.
The working youth forms the most consistent and reliable section of the revolutionary movement ‘and when they join the struggle of the working class, they fight for their own cause, and grow and become stronger in the struggle’.
The links they have with the most advanced and revolutionary class, their common class interests and objectives with the working class as a whole, accords the working youth a leading position in the revolutionary youth movement.
