Introduction: In this modern world, it is very difficult to go without books. A book is a precious life blood of its master. Books have very great importance in life. They are our best and unfailing friends. They give us pleasure, satisfaction and knowledge for they contain the wisdom of all ages. They inspire us to lead a noble and pious life. They console us in misery. They provide us the best company. They are the store house of knowledge, wisdom, satisfaction and pleasure. So reading good books is a good pastime.

Name of the book: I am very fond of reading books. I have read a number of books, but I like 'The Ram Charit Manas 'most. Goswami Tulsidas is its author. The Ram Charit Manas is my favorite book for it is the book of all times. It is the record of life band seeds of Lord Ram, the son of Ayodhya's king Dashratha.

Why I like it: There are many reasons for my liking this book. Characterization is the chief attraction of the book. It is the best book of Hindi literature. It has been written in a simple language.
