The lion and the mouse
One day a lion was sleeping in a forest. just then a small mouse ran over his back. The lion was angry. He caught the mouse and threatened to kill it.The mouse was very humble. It told the lion that a cut had chased him and so he accidentally jumped over the sleeping lion. The mouse begged to be forgiven.
The lion believed the mouse's tale and set him free. The mouse expressed his gratitude to the lion and promised to help the latter, if possible. The lion smiled, for he never imagined that a little mouse could one day help him.
After a month, the lion was caught in a net.Some hunter had trapped him. The lion roared and at last the sound could reach the mouse. The mouse released that his benefactor must be in trouble.
The mouse arrived at the spot. He started cutting the net. When the net was nibbled, the lion got free. The lion thanked the mouse for his service. He released that even an ordinary mouse could help a mighty lion in distress.
