Technology become very important part of our life today. people are always inventing many gadgets to improve our life conditions.Modern gadgets have made us complete slaves to machines. There is no work which cannot be done without the assistance of machines and there is not a single area of human activity where machines don’t have to be used. No one can deny the fact that gadgets have not only simplified our lives but also made them more comfortable and luxurious.

I am writing here an invention in the last century, which has changed the world of automation and controls. It has made every one's life more comfortable.
The invention of a semiconductor transistor device by Bardeen, Brittain and William Schockley has lead us to the development of most sophisticated computers, laptops, cell phones, calculators, appliances, weapons, gadgets etc. In fact, this twentieth century advanced invention is the basis for every electronic device used today.
With out a transistor device, there is no electronic control. Half the total number of jobs in the world would not be there. Such a fast growth in the world would not be possible at all in the last fifty years. This electronic device is controlling every other device now. In fact, human being is not controlling the electronics any more. It is the electronic controls that are controlling human beings.
Unfortunately, the new inventions are giving more and more power in to the hands of a person and enabling the life of other people at stake in hands of some. The destructive power of inventions is also as high as the usefulness. So we must use the inventions to the common good.
