Countries that use their youth in the right direction are more developed. The energy and vibrancy of the minds of the youth act as a torch-bearer for a nation. On the contrary, the countries that follow the youth in every department of life fail. This is one of the reasons for India's backwardness. Developed countries are fully aware of their value.

They consider their youth as an asset. Most important, countries cater to the needs of their youth and provide them with education, employment, recreational activities etc. It is only through such healthy and competitive environment that the youth should be prepared to lead the country.

If the youth is not in the right direction and is indifferent about the future of the nation then it will become a burden for the nation. Youths want a world free from discrimination, poverty, unemployment, inequality and exploitation of man by man based on race, color, language and gender.

Despite constituting a major part of our population, our youth lag behind in every field. They have a major role to play in the progress of the country but due to the negligence of the government they are facing many new challenges in today's society. They are afflicted with a sense of identity crisis, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, hopelessness, moral issues and ambiguity concerning the future. They are trapped in a culture marked by violence and drugs.

If these youth are not given the opportunity to exercise their talent, then it will be a huge waste of human resources. Racism is an important issue going on around the world. Religion is another issue. We are all one and we should not get away from each other because of these small differences. Crime and violence need to stop.

About 25 percent of the world's population is young. In this way a large part of the population plays an important role in the development of the nation. However, it is important that the freedom of thought and opinion of youth is exercised. They should find the right platform to share their ideas and showcase their talent.
