It was organized by India's 15th Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that it was a gift for Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday which is on 2nd October. On this occasion Narendra Modi himself cleans many surroundings and also forced people to clean and make their country green and clean. For this he selected his 'Navratna'(Sachin Tendulkar, Amir Khan etc)

At last I would say cleanliness is a path towards godliness and wealthness

So come on and make our country clean and green.

Answer:

Explanation:Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a nationwide program launched in the year 2014on the occassion of Gandhi Jayanti as it was his very dream to see India as "Swachh" and prosperous nation.

And our Prime Minister Narendra Modi thought it as his very responsibility to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream. And since launch it has turned into a mass public  movement.

People from various age group have contributed enthusiastically towards it.

Governments at different levels have tried their level best to raise awareness of Swachhta among people through various techniques such as advertising in newspapers and television and also through Nukkad nataks etc.

Government at central level has launched "SWACHHTA SARVEKSHAN" to develop  a healthy competition among the cities of the country to become cleanest and remain cleanest through effective measures.Due to which various municipalities around the country are coming up with innovative ideas of waste management and for which almost every municipality have distributed dustbins to its citizens. In rural India too sights have changed  and this mainly happened due to the construction of toilets in every rural households, government is also providing subsidy on it to pooer families.Due to this till now many villlages have become ODF and which resulted in the massive health improvement of the people in rural India especially children. It has also contributed in ensuring women's safety.Other government programmes towards "Swachh Bharat" are "Namami Gange Mission" to keep and make holy Ganga and other rivers of the country clean, construction of bio-toilets in trains to ensure cleaniless of stations and railway tracks.

It was all about government and its undertakings lets now turn to public without whose support it was not possible. As I earlier mentioned people from every age group have contributed towards it. Children and students are its unpaid ambassadors, varios organisations and swachhta groups have come up in accordance with this. Some epic stories of people and their passion for swachhta keep us inspiring and motivated.

The will only be fruitful if its tales keep us inspiring not only at present but also in coming future that is it is very important to encourage and tell children about "Swachhta" and try to incorporate it in their habits. We very well know that children learn what they see so it is very important for elders to be a modeljust be it only for their children. And this mindset is very much required.

Let me conclude this by taking the example of any city be it Jagdalpur. Its Municipal Corporation have distributed dustbins to its citizens but they started using it for alternate purposes but not for the purpose it was given.Another thing is that people in the city throw garbage anywhere nearby in their locality in open area which is being  prohibated by the government then also this practise continues and many more examples like this can be seen.

Through all this I just only want to convey that until there is change in the mindset of the people 60% of the job is undone.

So its very important for us to change our mindset and keep our surrounding clean because "Swachh Bharat" will lead to "Swastha Bharat" and make "Swastha Bharat".
