The equivallent resistance of three resistors having resistances R1,R2 AND R3 connected in series would be:

R(equivallent)=R1+R2+R3.

TO CALCULATE:

R ( equivallent) of resistors arranged in parallel.

Given:

R1=2 ohm

R2= 3 ohm

R3=6 ohm.

1/Rp = 1/R1 +1/R2+1/R3.

1/Rp =1/2 +1/3+1/6.

1/Rp= 3 +2+6/6

1/Rp=11/6

Rp=6/11 ohm

Rp=0.54 ohm.

Hope it helps u!!!
