One newton is the force necessary to course an acceleration of 1 m/s2 in an object of mass 1 kg. Mathematically written as-

1N=1kg×1m/s2

⇒ 1000 g ×100cm/s2

⇒1000×100×g×m/s2

⇒105 g cm/s2

Thus, we arrive at the final expression relating newton and dyne –1 newton = 105 dyne
