To establish the relation V = u + at

     Consider a body moving with a constant acceleration a let ,its initial velocity be u and the final velocity be v at 't'  second

From the expression of acceleration, ie ,

a = (v-u)/t

We get

at = v-u [Cross multipling]

v = u + at [Re-arranging terms]
