According to me esterification is an exothermic reaction .
Because it is the reaction between alcohol and carboxylic acid to produce ester and water which takes place in presence of concentrated acid such as sulphuric acid.
Due to the presence of concentrated sulphuric acid the reaction becomes moderately exothermic.
