Estimate the rate of heat transfer in W/m2 from a furnace wall consisting 200mm thick inner layer of chrome brick(k =1.25 W/m˚C), 150mm thick Kaolin brick ( k = 0.075 W/m˚C) and masonry brick ( k = 0.525 W/m˚C). The convective heat transfer coefficient inside furnace at gas temperature 1600˚C and atmosphere at 40˚C are 75, 40 W/m2˚C. Also draw electrical analogy and find thermal resistance.
