(b) The population of village A is 53,628 and village B is 78,426. Estimate the total

Rounding off to the nearest 1000=1,23,000

white roses=1,10,250

rounding off to the nearest 1000=1,10,000

pink roses=96,752

rounding off to the nearest 1000=97,000

sum of total roses in the garden=3,30,000

actual sum=330458

330458 rounding off to a nearest 1000=3,30,000

b) population of A village=53,628

rounding off to the nearest 1000=54,000

population of village B=78,426

rounding off to the nearest 1000=78,000

sum of the population of the two villages= 1,32,000

actual sum=132054

132054 rounding off to a nearest 1000=1,32,000
