Estimation of boric acid gives a feeble brown tint whilst 10.0 mg. The second colorimetric method depends on the red colour given by boric acid with curcumin in presence of oxalic acid. Using this method as muchas 2.0 mg. of boron trioxide can be estimated (SnellS).
