"Ethanol, commonly called as alcohol is an excellent solvent, is used in medicines and
is an important chemical compound involved in synthesis of many chemical
compounds. However in spite of its benefits to man, its impact on social behaviour
has always been questioned. Media has often show abnormal behaviour of people
while drunk. It is considered as a curse in the lives of those who are addicted to
alcohol – ‘Alcoholic’ people are not only lowering their metabolism and affecting
Central Nervous System, they are also a threat to the lives of others. Anger and rude
behaviour are some of its ill effects.
(i) Comment on the statement – ‘Should production of alcohol should be

when banning alcohol production the addiction will reduse,there will be problem but there will be who can live long but because of alcohol they are dying quickly they will be saved

Advantages of Alcohol Production :
---> Alcohol is used in manufacture of paints, varnishes, medicines and perfumes
---> It is used as a solvent .
---> used in medicines like cough syrup , Tincture iodine etc.
--> It can be used as a Antiseptic to sterlize wounds.
Disadvantages :
---> Consumption of alcohol by humans slows down the metabolic activities of nervous system.
--->Alcohol drinking causes mental restrain. Due to which person may become quarrelsome and may increase crimes in society.
-->Drinking alcohol may lead to blurred vision, slurred speech, Dizziness etc.
---> Person may become unconscious and for long period of time if it is consumed liver may get damaged and person may die.
As a coin has both the sides head and tails even alcohol has many advantages than disadvantages .It is up to the person how he uses it.
As a citizen of India, use it for the betterment of Society.
ii) As a student , I will conduct awareness programme in public by doing skits/ dramas to show the ill effects of drinking alcohol.
I will prepare some slogans and take out a rally in our society.
Prepare some charts .And display in it Notice board of Society or school.
