When we do the reaction of Ethylbenzoate with aqous sodium hydroxide it will form sodium benzoate and ethanol.

This sodium benzoate will further react with aqous hydrochloride HCl

and form benzoic acid and NaCl.

In this whole process ethanol and NaCl are produced which got deleted and the expected material is benzoic acid .
