Triple fusion is a fusion which involves fusion between nucleus of sperm and bipolar nuclei of ovary. This fusion is accompanied with normal fertilization.

It is a characteristic of angiosperms. Eucalyptus being angiosperm undergoes triple fusion.

On the other hand, cedrus is a gymnosperm. The basic difference between angiosperm and gymnosperm is that latter produces naked seeds, not surrounded by fleshy edible part.
