Here we are given an expression (0.4) × (0.4) – (0.2) × (0.2)

We have to find the value of the expression

In order to evaluate, we will have to use the BODMAS rule

We will first multiply the terms and then subtract

(0.4) × (0.4) = 0.16

(0.2) × (0.2) = 0.04

(0.4) × (0.4) – (0.2) × (0.2) = 0.16 - 0.04

                                           = 0.12

So, on evaluating  (0.4) × (0.4) – (0.2) × (0.2) we get 0.12
