Hey here is your answer
========================
 = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{2} } \\ = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{2} } \times \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} } \\ = \frac{ \sqrt{3} \times \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} \times \sqrt{2} } \\ = \frac{1.7320 \times \sqrt{2} }{2} \\ = 0.866\sqrt{2}

Q. Evaluate √3 / √2 if √3 = 1.732 . { Answer : 0.866√2 }

Solution  :  We have ,

= √3 / √2

To rationalize the denominator, we have to multiply the numerator and denominator both by √2.

= √3 x √2  / √2 x √2

= √3 x √2 / 2                 { √2 x √2 = √( 2 x 2 ) = 2 }

= √3 x √2 / 2.

Given,

          √3 = 1.732

By putting the value of √3 .

= 1.732 x √2 / 2

=  0.866√2.      { By dividing 1.732 by 2 }

So, if  √3 = 1.732 then √3 / √2 = 0.866√2
