Evaluate :

 \frac{ {(5.3)}^{2}  -  {(3.3)}^{2} }{ {(8.9)}^{2} + 2 \times 8.9 \times 2.2 +  {(1.1)}^{2}  }

Using formula

a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b) [for numerator]

a² + 2ab + b² = (a + b)² [for denominator]

 \frac{(5.3 + 3.3)(5.3 - 3.3)}{ {(8.9 + 1.1)}^{2} }

 \frac{8.6 \times 2}{ {(1.0)}^{2} }

 \frac{17.2}{1}

17.2

So the answer is 17.2

Answer:

Evaluate :{ {(5.3)}^{2} - {(3.3)}^{2} }{ {(8.9)}^{2} + 2 \times 8.9 \times 2.2 + {(1.1)}^{2} }

(8.9)

2

+2×8.9×2.2+(1.1)

2

(5.3)

2

−(3.3)

2

Using formula

a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b) [for numerator]

a² + 2ab + b² = (a + b)² [for denominator]

\frac{(5.3 + 3.3)(5.3 - 3.3)}{ {(8.9 + 1.1)}^{2} }

(8.9+1.1)

2

(5.3+3.3)(5.3−3.3)

\frac{8.6 \times 2}{ {(1.0)}^{2} }

(1.0)

2

8.6×2

\frac{17.2}{1}

1

17.2

17.217.2

So the answer is 17.2
