To solve : 6\times 3-14\div2

Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.
  • where,

                 \begin{array}{l} \\B= brackets\\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { Division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

  • According to above rule we will solve 6\times 3-14\div2 arranging terms properly:

        6\times 3-\frac{14}{2}

       = 18 -7 \\= 11

Hence, value of 6\times 3-14\div2 is 11 .
