Given -

 \frac{7}{5}  -  \frac{1}{10}  +  \frac{4}{5}

To find -

The value of  \frac{7}{5}  -  \frac{1}{10}  +  \frac{4}{5}

Solution -

For addition or substraction of fraction number it is important that the denominator should be same.

LCM of 5 and 10 is 10.

So,

Multiply 7/5 by 2/2 and 4/5 by 2/2 we get

= \frac{14}{10}  -  \frac{1}{10}  +  \frac{8}{10}

As per the Bodmas rule,

Add 1/10 and 8/10

As here one is plus and one is minus sign so, substraction occurred.

 =  \frac{14}{10}  -  \frac{1 + 8}{10}

 =  \frac{14}{10}   +  \frac{7}{10}

Now add

=  \frac{14 + 7}{10}

 =  \frac{21}{10}

By dividing 21 by 10 we get.

 = 2.1 (In decimal)

Hence,

The value of \frac{7}{5}  -  \frac{1}{10}  +  \frac{4}{5} is  \frac{21}{10}
