$\frac{7}{5} - \frac{1}{10} + \frac{4}{5}$

To find -

The value of $\frac{7}{5} - \frac{1}{10} + \frac{4}{5}$

Solution -

For addition or substraction of fraction number it is important that the denominator should be same.

LCM of 5 and 10 is 10.

So,

Multiply 7/5 by 2/2 and 4/5 by 2/2 we get

=$\frac{14}{10} - \frac{1}{10} + \frac{8}{10}$

As per the Bodmas rule,

Add 1/10 and 8/10

As here one is plus and one is minus sign so, substraction occurred.

$= \frac{14}{10} - \frac{1 + 8}{10}$

$= \frac{14}{10} + \frac{7}{10}$

Now add

= $\frac{14 + 7}{10}$

$= \frac{21}{10}$

By dividing 21 by 10 we get.

$= 2.1$ (In decimal)

Hence,

The value of $\frac{7}{5} - \frac{1}{10} + \frac{4}{5}$ is $\frac{21}{10}$
