hey dear here's ur answer..
*first of all we will expand it 995 can be written as(1000-5)^2
so now (a-b)^2 formula can be used..

●1,000,000+25-10,000
=●990,025

(【*note ◆[1] (a-b)^2= a^2-2ab+b^2
◆[2] I used (1000-5) but there may be still some doubts that why is not (900+5) or any other form used here instead of it..
so the answer is that finding square of 1000 or number that has a base as 10 is easier than any other .... number..).
