The question does not specify which of Apple's strategies (Marketing?Technology? Service & support?) to evaluate but being that the Apple Watch is currently the best selling watch in the world, any of those strategies would have to be rated a success. It does appear that Mr. Cook has taken the right approach and I have no suggestions as to how he might later the company's course.

Even though Apple has launched its smartwatches, the primary focus of the company is on its core products – iPhones and iPads. The smartwatch has been introduced by Tim Cook only to increase the overall profits of the manufacturer. This strategy adopted by Tim Cook is very much similar to the digital hub strategy followed by Steve Jobs. The watch has various appealing features that make it a much sought after item by new generation customers. However, on the flip side, the smartwatch is very expensive compared to its counterparts by other manufacturers. Also, it has to be charged on an everyday basis and can be used only with the recent iPhone models.
