m = 21

To Find : Value

Solution:

$\dfrac{1}{3}m -1 - \dfrac{1}{2}n$

Substitute m = 21 and n = 12

$\dfrac{1}{3}\times 21 -1 - \dfrac{1}{2} \times 12$

= 7 - 1  - 6

= 6 - 6

= 0

$\dfrac{1}{3}m -1 - \dfrac{1}{2}n = 0$  

if m = 21 and n = 12
