2
4 (sin^4 30° + cos^4 60°) - 3(cos² 45° - 2 sin² 45°)
The values of these are:
sin 30° = 1/2
cos 60° = 1/2
cos 45° = 1/√2
sin 45° = 1/√2
Therefore

4 ( (1/2)^4 + (1/2)^4) - 3 ( (1/√2)² - 2 (1/√2)² )

4 (1/16 + 1/16) - 3 (1/2 - 2 * 1/2)

4 (2/16) - 3(1/2 - 1)

4(1/8) - 3(- 1/2)

1/2 + 3/2

4/2
= 2 is the answer
